sc4map
I'm working on a new version, which is based on a database back end. It will have a lot more nice features, and will be a lot more stable. Watch for updates.version 2.3 posted Mon Jul 16 20:53:02 2001
sc4map is a tool to turn sc4 turn reports into graphical maps.
It has a lot of options, including:
- label by empire, name, ship class;
- ship histories/trajectories
- displaying explored space
- show data for arbitrary month(default is current turn)
- customizable color coding!
- current/Max CV count
- labelling of enemy planets/ships
- displays nebulae, mines, and other miscellaneous objects
Requirements:
- a computer
- sc4 turn reports
- perl. For Unixlike OSen, any version should work, and you almost certainly have it. For windows(Boo!) I recommend ActivePerl.
- a postscript viewer, like ghostview. You probably also have this.
- The sc4map program itself. I've packaged it in a couple of formats below.
Every page needs ScreenShots:
